The Cryptshare Server does not receive updates

All versions of Cryptshare Server

Symptom

The host on which Cryptshare is installed does have access to the internet but Cryptshare still cannot find any updates although a new version is available.

Cause

The Cryptshare Server cannot access the internet directly as it is behind a proxy server.

Solution

Please follow the instructions in the administration manual on how to configure Cryptshare for using the proxy server.
